In all envelope modes – default, inverted, and loop – the envelope stages that respond to keytracking are decay and release, meaning: in all cases it's the duration of the decay and release stages that responds relative to the pitch of the notes being played in the keyboard. So try out different decay and release settings to adjust how the keytracked envelope responds. If you perceive no noticeable keytracking effect when ENV 1 is set to inverted mode, consider that the effect the inverted envelope will have on its modulation destination will be the opposite to ENV 1 acting in default mode.
