Try applying some key pressure and/or moving the bender on your Super 6 after connecting it to the other instrument via the MIDI DIN ports. The running status may need to be updated. After applying key pressure and/or moving the bender, you should be able to fully control the connected synthesizer with your Super 6 again.
I use the Super 6 as a MIDI controller for another synth. The other synth does not respond to note messages.
